Organizing People with Photo Albums

Albums are a way to group and organize people in your collection, not photos.

Albums help you separate family lines, research themes, or areas of interest. For example, you might create albums for “Mom’s Side,” “Mystery People,” or “Civil War Soldiers.” Each album contains person profiles (named or unnamed) that you choose to include.

Creating an Album

From the My People page:

  1. Click the Albums icon in the top right

  2. Click + Add Album

  3. Name your album and press Enter

You can also edit or delete albums later from this same menu.

Adding People to an Album

To add a person:

  1. Go to the My People page

  2. Find the person you want to add

  3. Click the album icon next to their name

  4. Select an album (or create a new one)

✅ You can add the same person to multiple albums

✅ You can remove them from an album at any time

✅ This will not affect any of their assigned faces or matches

💡 Albums are just a way to stay organized — they don’t affect how the system compares or matches faces.
